Donna Hopcraft
In 1984 I gained a B.Ed honours degree at Bristol Polytechnic, now UWE. I specialised in art education at secondary school level. I have since worked full time as an art teacher for over 25 years; mainly in and around Bristol, England. In 1995 I spent one year on a teacher exchange to Australia where I taught art in Newcastle, New South Wales.  In addition to my teaching career I have continued to work as a practising artist. I have been commissioned to produce work in painting, pencil drawing, stained glass and ceramics. I have exhibited work for local arts trails and shops in Bristol, England and in the South of France. I am a member of the North Bristol Artists group. I have now retired to the French Pyrenees where I am continuing my artwork alongside my husband Malcolm Hopcraft who is also an artist.
